Raw Mashies...

Yesterday I made raw cauliflower mashies. Into the bowl of the Cuisinart went organic cauliflorettes (is that a word??), soaked raw almonds, olive oil, Himilayan salt, cumin, curry powder and turmeric. I chopped some fresh cilantro on top and voile, instant yummy. For dinner that night, I put some water into the Vita-mix and added some more salt, some celery ribs, a handful of carrots, some yellow pepper, sweet onion and
blended for a minute and then I added the left over mashies, some curry and cumin powder and made soup. The soup tasted so familiar to me and finally it dawned on me that I had made a raw Mulligitawny.
